Roadmap

From current build to certified deliveries

For European storage projects, safety, cybersecurity and technological sovereignty are becoming closely connected: owners need to understand how a system behaves, where critical technology comes from and who remains responsible for it.

Bessify owns the system architecture, enclosure and thermal design, PCS technology, controls and firmware; measures electrical, thermal and mechanical behaviour directly; and remains responsible for how those elements operate together. This is where the programme stands today.

Why Bessify

Safety was the first principle

Bessify began with the safety problem and designed the complete system around preventing, detecting and responding to cell failure. Direct electrical, thermal and mechanical measurement, cell access for water-based deluge, and physical separation of the Energy, Power and Thermal compartments are not additions to the finished product; they determine its architecture.

01

Safety by architecture

Cell arrangement, direct measurement, physical separation and water-based deluge are designed into the system from the beginning.

02

Measure, not only model

Electrical, thermal and mechanical data provide a directly measured account of the battery’s condition and behaviour.

03

European and competitive

Technology ownership and manufacture in Estonia combine accountable European engineering with a commercially competitive system.

Who is delivering it

One accountable team in Estonia

The engineering and manufacturing team in Jüri is responsible for the system architecture, mechanical design, power-conversion technology, controls and firmware—and for integrating them as one machine.

Specialist suppliers provide components, while independent laboratories and certification bodies assess the finished technology. Responsibility for the complete system remains with Bessify.

DesignArchitecture, components and controls developed as one system.
ManufactureAssembly and checks recorded to create a repeatable manufacturing record.
ConformityThe complete system is placed on the EU market under the Bessify name.
System responsibilityOne manufacturer remains responsible for how the complete system operates.
Where we are now

Moving into manufacture

The system architecture and technologies have been developed, and all components for the first full-scale Energy System are in hand. The company is now completing assembly while refining the processes required for repeatable manufacture.

Assembly is underway, compartment by compartment—followed by full-system testing and independent certification ahead of customer production.

Bessify programme timelineThe first 1.2 megawatt hour system was built in 2024 to 2025. The 6 megawatt hour Energy compartment was built by September 2026; temperature and voltage sensing and pneumatic compression have been tested. Power and Thermal compartment assembly is targeted for October and November 2026. PCS certification is targeted for the first quarter of 2027, followed by system certification and first deliveries in the third quarter of 2027. now2024–25SEP 2026OCT 2026NOV 2026Q1 2027Q3 2027 Build & test First system1.2 MWhEnergy compartment6 MWh built; temperatureand voltage sensing andpneumatic compression testedPower compartmentAssembly targetedThermal compartmentAssembly targeted CertificationPCS certificationSystem certificationFirst deliveries targeted Bessify programme timelineThe first 1.2 megawatt hour system was built in 2024 to 2025. Solid marks are complete; outlined marks are targets, subject to successful assembly, testing and certification.
From 2027 onward

Scale to demand

Following system certification and the first customer deliveries, manufacturing capacity will be added in response to confirmed demand. The first production systems establish and verify the manufacturing process for those that follow.
