Who we are and how to contact us

Bessify OÜ is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in the Estonian Commercial Register under registry code 12266097. Registered address: Ringi tee 13, Jüri alevik, Rae vald, Harju maakond, 75301, Estonia.

What we process

Website access and security logs. Delivering this website to your browser involves processing technical data about your request, including your device’s IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. We do not keep our own access logs for this website. Microsoft, as our hosting provider, processes this data to deliver the website and protect it against misuse, and may keep service logs for that purpose.

Business enquiries by email. When you email us, we process your email address, your name and organisation if you give them, the content of your message and any attachments. If you use “Discuss this configuration” on the Pricing page, your email program opens a message pre-filled with the configuration you selected; nothing is sent to us until you send that email yourself.

This website does not use cookies or analytics.

Purposes and legal basis

Website access and security logs are processed to deliver the website and to keep it secure and working. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Business enquiries are processed to answer your enquiry and to follow up on it. Where you contact us about entering into a contract with you, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Otherwise, including where you write on behalf of an organisation, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and managing business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients and service providers

This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Microsoft processes website requests on our behalf as our hosting provider.

Email sent to info@bessify.com is handled by Microsoft through its Outlook email service.

We do not copy enquiries into any other system.

We may also disclose personal data where we are required to do so by law.

International transfers

Microsoft may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where it does, the transfer relies on Microsoft’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on the Standard Contractual Clauses in Microsoft’s data protection terms.

How long we keep personal data

Website access and security logs: we do not keep these logs ourselves. Service logs kept by Microsoft are retained in line with Microsoft’s own terms.

Business enquiries: we keep enquiry emails for as long as they are needed to handle the enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict processing, and to receive data you have provided to us in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@bessify.com. We may ask for information to confirm your identity. We will respond within one month of receiving your request, or tell you within that month if we need longer, as the GDPR allows.

Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), aki.ee, or with the data protection authority in the EU or EEA country where you live or work.
